Hello and welcome to The Angels of Valhalla! My name is Khaos and my friend Alena is the co-owner of the site. This is just one of the many roleplay based websites I have made, and it is currently the only active site that I have made. However, depending on how this site does I might make more in the near future and include the links in a forum post. Please make sure to read through all the background and story line info as well as the rules. If you are interested in joining the roleplay simply sign up! Background
Two millenniums ago there was a war on earth between heaven and hell over a book that was said to hold an untold power. This war lasted for many years and nearly wiped out the human race. As the world began to fall into destruction a council was made. This council consisted of a race known now as the peace keepers. In order to end the war the council took the book of power and destroyed it. Heaven and hell were both punished for their actions of war and banished into their own realms under a pact sealed in blood. But the council deceived both heaven and hell. The book of power that was claimed to be destroyed, was in fact hidden somewhere on earth where it was found a thousand years later by two human sisters. For years they studied the book and attempted to learn its secrets. They quickly learned that the book could be manipulated for good or evil. And while they promised each other they would only use the book for good, one of the sisters had been deceiving. Kyri, one night decided to steal the book and leave her sister. This action started a chain reaction. A darkness began to fill Kyri's heart. The darkness corrupted her and drove her insane, yet no matter how much she tried she couldn't undo what she had done. Because of her actions the corruption soon began to creep through the world. Furious that the council had deceived them, heaven and hell left their realms and began to roam free on earth, and once again a war between heaven and hell was declared. Though the second war only lasted a few years, there were many events that took place that could determine the very fate of the world we live in now. The book fell into the hand of the angels, the council was destroyed and remade, the demons were banished back to their own realm. But darkness still lingers and is waiting for it's time to rise again. Will you be ready?
